Emergencies
happen everywhere including
the workplace. Co-workers are often the first to respond
to medical emergencies and injuries involving children
and adults.
EMS Education, Inc. will educate supervisors, clerks,
administrative assistants, and others in the workplace
to recognize emergencies and provide care until emergency
medical care arrives. Our instructors will teach participants
to recognize and respond to emergencies, so that they
will be able to answer questions like:
- Is
a nosebleed serious and how should it be handled?
- How
do I recognize a diabetic emergency?
- What
are the signs of a seizure?
- What
can I do for a child or adult with an obstructed airway?
- Should
a person who falls be moved?
- What
do I do if someone has chest pain?
